This interactive course takes a deeper look at the impact of trauma on brain development and what it means for those delivering services to children and families with trauma histories. We will discuss how to apply the science to real life scenarios in a practical and understandable way. This includes instruction on trauma informed practices that help build resilience in children that can put them on a path to healthy life outcomes.

Format: Live, online course

Duration: 2 Hours

Prerequisite: It is recommended that attendees have a strong fundamental understanding of Childhood Trauma and Adversity as provided through an Intro to Childhood Trauma and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) or similar course.

Who Should Attend: Individuals that provide direct services to children and families. Caseworkers, social workers, clinicians, therapists, counselors, visitation supervisors, GALs, child advocates, and more.
